The Mission of Mansfield All-Stars is to provide year-round sports training, education and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children with intellectual disabilities. We began in 1986 by Harriet Kaker, and Maurie James and the help of Imogene Gideon, the director MISD Director of Special Education at the time. They started with six athletes and two coaches. From those simple beginnings the program currently has over seventy five athletes and twenty coaches. We participate in Aquatics (Swimming), Athletics (Track & Field), Basketball, Bocce, and Bowling. We participate in local competition in the Greater Fort Worth Area 11 Competition, as well as Texas Chapter Games. We are proud to announce the 2009-2010 Booster Club officers. Our Next Booster club meeting will be September 3, 2009.

On behalf of the MISD Special Olympics Booster Club, I would like to thank all of those who participated in our Annual Sports Banquet.
Thank you to all the athletes for all of your dedication and your ability to truly find joy in all you do.
Thank you to all of the parents for your love and dedication to your children. We are so LUCKY to have such wonderful examples of how we should all be living our lives.
Thank you to all of the volunteers who gave so much time and love helping out with the banquet and throughout the year.
Thank you to our Master of Ceremonies Scott Kissinger and our Guest Speaker Scott Odom for joining us.
Thank you Toni Eaton for all your hard work and time that it took to make such a wonderful night for everyone. I know that I enjoyed it greatly.

it is Miniature Golf time!
Mansfield ISD All-Stars Booster Club is proud to announce it's 1st ever Putting 4 the All-Stars mini golf fundraiser to benefit Mansfield ISD All-Stars, A Special Olympics Team. WHERE: Putt-Putt Golf & Games in Arlington, TX
If you wish to participate you must email Stacy Bitenc NO LATER than July 10th. The golf tournament is open to All-Star Athletes...Here are the 4 ways to particpate:
Just For FUN!
Sponsor an All-Stars athlete in 18 holes of mini golf. You can sponsor 1 hole at $2 each or the athlete’s entire game $36. Just for fun! We don’t keep score.
All athletes will receive a participation shirt
All-Star Athlete
Sponsor an All-Stars athlete in 18 holes of mini golf. You can sponsor 1 hole at $5 each or the athlete’s entire game $90. Each athlete will complete 18 holes of golf and scores will be taken.
All athletes will receive a participation shirt, and Winning Athletes' will be featured on our website
TEAM Competition
TEAM competition All-Star Athletes team up with a friend, or family member . Athlete and Teammate collect sponsors 1 hole at $10 each or the team’s entire game $180. Each athlete will complete 18 holes of golf and scores will be taken the team with the highest score will be featured on our website. All athletes will receive a participation shirt.
